How to Make Your Fragrance Last Longer

How to Make Your Fragrance Last Longer

Differing from eau de parfums and eau de toilettes, MCoBeauty Fragrance Mists are lightweight and layerable. You can simply spritz and go or use them together to create custom scents. However you like to wear them, here are some tricks to help you get the most out of your Fragrance Mist.

Shower with a scented Body Wash

Our luxurious Everyday Body Washes leave a subtle scent that lingers on your skin after your shower. This helps to build a base for the Fragrance Mist you’ll soon spritz. Select the Body Wash that best suits your Fragrance Mist – better yet, use its exact match!

Layer with a scented Body Cream

Scents cling well to moisturised skin. Apply a Body Cream to envelop your skin in nourishing ingredients while developing a fragrance base. Like the Body Washes, you can use complementary or matching scents to prepare for spraying your Fragrance Mist.

      Spritz your mist correctly

The warmth from your body activates our Fragrance Mists, so it’s best to apply it directly to your skin first, not clothing. Spritz it onto your pulse points, where your skin tends to feel warm. No need to rub your wrists together – this only weakens the fragrance’s development. Allow the fragrance to fully dry down (i.e., give it a few minutes) before considering applying more.

Hair is also an excellent fragrance carrier, so mist it onto your hairbrush then brush it through the length of your hair. The same goes for clothing, so you can give your outfit a final spray before heading out the door.

         MCoBeauty Fragrance Tips

        • Fragrances perform differently for everyone. Factors like your skin’s pH levels can impact how a scent smells and how long it lasts.
        • Fragrances typically smell more intense and last longer in summer than in winter. That’s because heat and moisture (in the air and on your skin) help the fragrance molecules ‘bloom’ and diffuse, creating a more potent scent.
        • If you’re planning to mix and match scents, make sure they work well together before committing to wearing them.
        • After you apply fragrance, your nose adjusts and gradually gets used to the scent. That doesn’t necessarily mean you need to spray more. You may not smell your fragrance so strongly, but people near you might!
