Eid Mubarak MCoBeauties!
Mona Khalifa takes us through her Eid routine, focusing on perfecting her base to last all day long. While a bittersweet time as it marks the end of Ramadan, Mona loves that “Eid is such a beautiful time with your family.”
She starts by prepping her lips with our Glow Up PH Lip Balm to add some soft nourishment while she works on the rest of her face.
Her primer of choice is our Hydrating Face Primer, loving how it “actually visibly smoothed out [her] skin.”
Before putting on foundation, Mona contours, conceals and highlights using what is called the “underpainting method, because it’s the best way to ensure your makeup looks really flawless.”
Using our Instant Contour Wand, she applies contour to her cheekbones, forehead, nose and jawline before blending thoroughly.
The next step in her routine is to use the Instant Concealer as a highlighter and concealer, applying it to her forehead, nose, cheeks, lips and chin. As well as being a versatile multi-use product, Mona calls it “10/10, crease proof, [and] waterproof.”
For the finishing touches of the underpainting, Mona layers on the Hydra Glow Oil-Free Foundation which is “buildable and literally blurs imperfections.”
To add some rosy colour to her look, Mona reaches for the Highlight & Glow Beauty Wand in Blush Glow, dabbing it onto her cheeks and building until she achieves the perfect flush.
To mattify any areas that tend to get oily throughout the day, Mona uses our Invisible Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder, for a flawless and blurred finish.
While she wants some areas to be matte, she wants others to be ultra-radiant and “sensational from every angle,” so she reaches for our Silky Smooth Highlighter for an instant golden glow.
To “make sure the makeup doesn’t smudge crack or move” all day long, Mona gives herself a spritz of the MCoBeauty Ultra Lock Makeup Setting Spray to tie it all together.
